Tre Edwards And His Recruitment Journey

Tre had a vast amount of programs vying for his commitment, including USC, Texas A&M, Oregon, Notre Dame, Arkansas, and Colorado.

However, it was clear from the beginning of his recruitment that UCLA had the early edge in keeping him local to Southern California. During his commitment decision, Edwards mentioned how, “I’m excited to play under coach Chip Kelly and coach Norton. “They have a lot of experience with coaching in both college football as well as the NFL. Being able to gain knowledge from both of them will help me both on and off the field. It’s also an honor to be a part of a successful university in all aspects of athletics and academics.”

It was evident that Edwards was impressed with the background of the coaching staff and the exceptional education he would recieve at UCLA.
