Silas Bolden Commits To The University of Texas
After a breakout year at Oregon State University, Silas Bolden has committed to the University of Texas after recently entering the transfer portal. The star wide receiver had 746 receiving yards on 54 receptions, to go with 5 receiving touchdowns in 2023. On the year, he had 8 total touchdowns with 2 coming from the ground, and 1 coming from special teams. In his two years at Oregon State University, Bolden was on the second team All-Pac-12 team each year. This is a big pickup for the Texas offense, as they add an electric wide receiver to an offense that was already ranked in the top 10 in total offense. Texas made a deep run into the College Football Playoff, and with this move they look to try and compete for the national championship. It will be fun to see the dynamic that Quinn Ewers and Silas Bolden build throughout the year. Welcome to Texas Silas!
