Jonah Coleman Scores First Career Touchdown

Arizona running back Jonah Coleman scored his first career touchdown during Arizona’s thrilling come from behind 31-28 victory over North Dakota State University on September 3.

On a designed draw play on 1st and Goal at their opponent’s 2-yard line, Coleman follwed his blocks and bulldozed his way into the end zone. After he scored, Coleman was greeted to cheers and high-fives from his Wildcat teammates and coaches in the end zone and sideline.

Coleman finished the game with 6 carries for 32 yards (1 touchdown) and 1 reception for 14 yards.

Jonah Coleman was the #2 rated all-purpose running back in the 2022 recruiting class coming out of Lincoln High School (per 247 Sports Composite). With performances like this, it is easy to see why be is poised to be a staple within Jedd Fisch’s offense as the season progresses.

Coleman and Arizona will look to keep the momentum going as they try to have a winning season and become bowl eligible for the first time since 2017.
